Overnight Trips

PROVISIONS

On day trips, we tend to BBQ in the evenings. We provide the meat, and potluck the side dishes.

However, on overnights, we ask that each guest be responsible for one meal.

This includes menu, provisioning, cooking, and clean up.

We have a grill and an “Instapot” that can be used as a hot plate or oven. Special diet? Let us know we are very flexible.

SIMPLE

We have facilities to cook, but a bowl of cherries and blueberries with yogurt can be just enough.

You (and we) are the cook and the janitor. This guy is a plumber, cook, bartender, navigator, gear donkey, dishwasher, coffee maker, sail trimmer and occasionally, comic relief.

coffee

A Nespresso machine makes quick and easy espresso and americano caffeine. For those who love coffee, grab one of our manual grinders and make yourself a V-60 pour over from fresh ground whole beans. We also have an electric tea kettle and loose leaf tea for tea lovers.

Settle In

Cozy but room for the important stuff

Heads!

We have two heads (or bathrooms). While both bathrooms have a hot shower (currently a pull out faucet that mounts on the wall) and a toilet, we generally use the forward v-berth bathroom as a “the shower” and the aft bathroom as “the toilet room” in order to keep a dry bathroom. This photo is “the shower” (forward head) but it also works for middle-of-the-night relief on-suite.

The aft head is a full fresh water electric head with a hot/cold bidet and a holding tank.

  1. Add a line to the date block. Don’t take a # slot, but you can propose a new one!

  2. Add your boat name in the “Summary” column and your name in the “Name” column.

Costs

Basically we split any expenses evenly. We cannot accept any payment (USCG & insurance get excited) but “leftover wine” will be appreciated by the next crew.
